Check Out the Class Projects that will be Available at Auction!

Now We Know our ABC’s! – Preschool/Prekindergarten
The preschool/pre-kindergarten classroom created a personalized alphabet book. Each child had the opportunity to hold an object that represents a letter in the alphabet, not to mention they each also autographed their page in the book. Along with the alphabet book, we created a personalized book bag that you can be used on the go with your child. Each child painted a hand print on  the bag. These items will be cherished by you and your child as they grow, something that they can show their children someday.

Make a Salad with Kindergarten!!
Our large personalized salad bowl has the unique hand and thumb prints of each student and teacher.  We’ve created a special “photo” recipe card to guide you in tossing together a wonderful salad for your family.  Beautiful salad utensils for tossing and serving held in our favorite bumble bee holder.  Serve these yummy recipes with the set of four small salad bowls that have that special kindergartener touch.  Each time you eat from these bowls remember that they were touched by love from the St. Bernadette Kindergarten class of 2017-2018 and their teacher, Mrs. Julia West.

God’s First Grade Team!
This is a beautiful picture of the 14 First Grade students’ hands, grasped in a unique circle of diverse colors and unity. We are all part of God’s plan of uniqueness, equality, and teamwork that is particularly fostered in First Grade. This piece of artwork is uniquely signed.  You will want to take this work home as a sign of the solidarity and diversity of the First Grade Class!

Second Grade is on Its Mission!
The second grade is on the trail of clues, looking at pictures, studying fingerprints and foot prints! We have a “Secret Agent” stuffed dog to help us.  Don’t let his disguise fool you!  He is soft and cuddly. For the spy in you, there are a couple of secret message pens and a “Spy School” fiction reading set.  Be sure to look on the bottom of the chair because we all signed it!  This is a second grade one of a kind.  We hope you enjoy many hours rocking and reading in our “Mission Possible” chair.

Chalk It up for 3rd Grade!
You’ll want to take this unique and crafty chalkboard home!  The framed chalkboard has space to hang pictures at the top and plenty of space for jotting down notes, organizing home plans, or giving your child a space to express his or her creativity. The 3rd grade class designed the “people” lining the bottom of the frame. Included with project: Chalk markers, picture clips, string lights, and class pictures. Perfect for a child’s playroom or bedroom!

4th Grade – Ready to Stand the Test of Time!
We designed and personalized a Grandfather Clock with a St. B’s Spirit Logo.  In addition we prepared a time capsule containing a 4th grade photo album that includes one of kind selfie photos from various activities from the past year, a flash drive with each students personal inspiration from this years Gala theme Mission Impossible.  This beautiful Grandfather Clock is sure to find its perfect home in your house!

Pray with 5th Grade and Their Saints
The 5th grade project is a cross woven by all of the students that is mounted on rustic barn wood from Iowa.  This hand-made cross is a reminder of our faith that is central to our lives as St. Bernadette students.  On the back are the names of all of our Confirmation saints, whom we pray to daily, and whose blessings we send to whomever buys this special cross.

6th Grade – Cooking with Kids & Dining with Disney!
You do not want to miss out on the opportunity to dine with Disney with inspiration from the 6th Grade Class! The  class created a one-of-a-kind cookbook with all of their favorite recipes.  When combined with a whimsical collection of Disney inspired kitchen accessories and some of your favorite Disney characters (not to mention an assortment of gift cards), you’ll certainly be singing “Zip-a-Dee Doo-Dah!”

7th Grade – Ready for the Days of Summer!
The 7th grade class project is an indoor/outdoor end table featuring tiles hand painted by the 7th Graders. The colors and images chosen for the tiles are very pastel, and in the spirit of spring and summertime. Some students also hand painted eight coasters to match the table, which also feature inspirational words or phrases. This table and accompanying coasters will look perfect on your patio for the lazy days of summer, sippin’ on some lemonade!

Through Our Hands, We Pray – 8th Grade
Through our hands in the Words Jesus taught us!  The Lord gave us a prayer and tradition has given us tools to embrace our faith. Each 8th grader holds one of these tools as they embrace their faith.  These tools of their faith will certainly serve these students well as they go forth from St. B’s to the excitement and growth of high school. This beautiful collection of faith-inspired photographs will help you remember the special times spent at St. Bernadette Catholic School
