Our Mission

St. Bernadette Catholic School of the Archdiocese of Denver provides students with a strong spiritual and academic foundation in a Christ-centered community for the greater glory of God.

At St. Bernadette Catholic School, we are about much more than students, teachers, and strong academics- we are a family. All of our experienced and dedicated faculty are passionate about encouraging each child to reach his or her potential, as well as helping them grow through faith toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Our philosophy is simple, the cornerstone on which our school is built, and we reflect this goal in the ways we teach, learn from, and care for one another.

We are a Christ-centered community, committed to creating a nurturing environment in both words and actions. We recognize the strength in each child and fostering his or her continuing spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth as preparation for lifelong learning and responsible citizens.

We expect each child to do the very best with the talents God gave him or her. It is important that no one, especially our children, bury their talents but discover their gifts- intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual. In Jesus’ parable of the talents, He asks each one of us to develop our potential and put our gifts at the service of our whole community. Simply put, we must come to “Know Jesus, know about Jesus, and make Jesus known to others.” We also encourage parents to feel free to share their talents at school as often as possible, in order that every child may benefit from the wealth of knowledge and abilities that each adult in their larger community has to offer.

Our love is for Christ, our mission is to bring about the kingdom of God, and our vocation is to accomplish His work through the love and education of each of his children, that they might give glory to God.
